Nothing Sweeter!!! (4 1/2 months old)

Mom somehow caught me sleeping. Since I've learned to roll over really good I like sleeping on my side. No matter how I'm laying though I always have a hold on my paci.

Bridget said...: Wow, I can't believe how big Sophie has got!!! I pray that everything is going good with you, Gary and Sophie. I can't wait for Olivia, Sophie and Luke to see each other. God has truly blessed each of us with our babies. Even though Luke will not be here until August, I feel God's presence and blessings each time Luke moves and each time I look in the mirror and see myself getting bigger!!
Hope to see you all when you come home again!!

Dec. 16th, 2011 - Approved for Adoption through Lifeline Christian Services
Dec. 23rd, 2011 - Mailed fingerprints.
Dec. 27th, 2011 - Mailed Alabama CAN forms to Lifeline.
Jan. 6th, 2012 - First home study visit.
Jan. 9th, 2012 - Mailed PA, FL, CT, and NJ CAN forms to Lifeline. Got birth and marriage certificates.
Jan. 11th, 2012 - Gary's physical.
Jan. 16th, 2012 - Amanda's physical.
Jan. 17th, 2012 - Second home study visit.
Jan. 23rd, 2012 - Physical exam sheet for the girls signed.
Jan. 23rd, 2012 - Fingerprints approved.
Feb. 3rd, 2012 - Third home study visit.
Feb. 11th, 2012 - All CAN clearances received.
Feb. 16th, 2012 - Final home study visit in Birmingham.
April 30th, 2012 - I-600a application mailed to Immigration.
May 7th, 2012 - Received notice that our I-600a application and payment were received by USCIS.
May 30th, 2012 - Dossier sent to Lifeline.
June 6th, 2012 - Received approval of our I-600a from USCIS (Immigration).
June 15th, 2012 - Dossier authentification complete.
June 20th, 2012 - Dossier sent to translator.
July 12th, 2012 - Dossier translated into French!!!
July 22nd, 2012 - Our social worker visited Haiti to meet a new potential partner.
Aug. 7th, 2012 - Lifeline added a new orphanage to their partnership in Haiti. We decided to change to the new orphanage. We sent our application to Three Angels.
Aug. 14th, 2012 - We were approved by the new orphanage.
Oct. 25th, 2012 - Dossier mailed to Haiti.
Oct. 30th, 2012 - Dossier delivered to Three Angels in Haiti.
Nov. 2nd, 2012 - Received Kelly and Kevenel's referral.
Nov. 13th, 2012 - Dossier officially entered IBESR!!!
May 21st, 2013 - Dossier officially exited IBESR!!!
July 15th, 2013 - Booked tickets for our first trip to meet our babies.
Aug. 4th - Aug. 10th, 2013 - Our first trip to Haiti. (Aug. 7th - U.S. Embassy Appointment, Aug. 8th - Parquet Appointments)
Sept. 24th, 2013 - Birth father interview/court appointment completed.
Oct. 25th, 2013 - Received Adoption Decree. Exited Parquet. Entered MOI.
Nov. 15th, 2013 - Exited MOI. Entered Immigration (Passports.)
Feb. 14th, 2014 - Picked up passports!!!
Feb. 21st, 2014 - Dossier submitted to US Embassy.
March 26th, 2014 - USCIS requested one additional document.
April 30th, 2014 - Requested document submitted.
May 19th, 2014 - Received notice of I-600 approval.
June 5th, 2014 - Visa interview.
June 10th, 2014 - We travel to Haiti.
June 13th, 2014 - HOMECOMING!!!
