You Have Filled Our Hearts With Joy
You, Sweet Lily, are wonderful from your head to your tiny feet.
Your precious smile says more than 1000 words could speak.
Your blue eyes always sparkle when I come into your view.
God’s gonna teach me a lot through little bitty you.
In my arms is always where you long to be.
God wants just the same out of you and me.
You cry for me at night to make sure I’m still here.
We can do the same to the Father, we are always in His care.
The tummy aches and teeth you cut make you need me even more.
I’m beginning to understand what life’s trials are really for.
Love God with all your heart. He is your greatest need.
He will guide this life before you and be your strength indeed.
Yearn for His presence your whole life through.
He, my little darling, will never leave nor forsake you.
Walk each day with the Word as your lamp and as your guide.
Hold tightly to God’s hand – He’s always by your side.
Thank You, Lord, for showing us a glimpse of your glory.
Through this precious baby you have filled our hearts with joy.
