It's hard to believe my firstborn is 6 years old. I can remember when she was born and many older and wiser women would say, "enjoy every minute is goes by so fast." I've worked hard to do just that. I can count on both hands how many times I've been away from her yet still it's gone by way to fast. We are together every day and I try so hard to embrace it but the days still are fleeting.
Sophie is still my tenderhearted, compassionate little girl. She keeps me humble. I'm honored to be her momma. She and I enjoyed our first "real" tea party for her birthday. We had such a great time and we're already looking forward to our next tea time.
